Partners

The International Sustainability Education Foundation has brought together a group of individuals and businesses to make the Canada Ambassador Program possible.

The Canada Ambassador Program would not be possible without the support and partnership of the following organisations:

The International Sustainability Education Foundation is responsible for the creation of the Canada Ambassador Program and for coordinating the Program and all the partners involved. A Foundation staff member will accompany the Program from the first day till the last day acting as the manager for all aspects of the Canada Ambassador Program. The International Sustainability Education Foundation also will have a full time staff person coordinating all the logistics of the program from start to finish and beyond. This type of sustainable and unique educational experience is a mainstay of the philosophy of the Foundation.

School Dsd69_logoistrict No. 69 Qualicum is an integral part of the Canada Ambassador Program. All students on the program are registered full time students within School District No. 69 Qualicum. The teacher on the Canada Ambassador Program is an employee of School District No. 69 Qualicum. Most importantly the Canadian students – the Canadian Ambassadors – are students of School District No. 69 Qualicum. The partnership between the international students and the Canadian students is one of the most powerful parts of the entire program. The special projects department at School District No. 69 Qualicum is instrumental in coordinating the university visits which are such an integral part of the Canada Ambassador Program experience. Logo_Via VIA Rail Canada is more than just a partner. VIA trains carry our students across the country linking the west and the east – from sea to sea. VIA also couples our students to the history of Canada since the railroad was such an integral part of the building of Canada. Having our students travel across the country on the same routes which helped build this country into what it is today truly brings education into the experiential area. VIA Rail staff take care of our students food and sleeping and transportation over a long 7400 km route. More than just a partner VIA Rail is the train that keeps the Canada Ambassador Program on track.

logo_pngWEtegrity is an Investment Group which brings together global investors and regional development. WEtegrity provided the seed funding to launch the International Sustainability Education Foundation and through that support are very instrumental in making the Canada Ambassador Program possible. Without the work of the International Sustainability Education Foundation the Canada Ambassador Program could not exist and ISEF could not have started without the support of WEtegrity. WEtegrity believes that long term success of regional development projects can only happen when the needs of both investors and regions are met.
